In this episode of the Wrestling Mindset Podcast, Gene Zannetti talks with Ohio three-time state champion Nathan Attisano about joining Wrestling Mindset in the middle of his junior season, once he realized inconsistency was costing him matches he had no business losing.
Nathan says he felt results within the first few calls and won a state title that postseason, then another the following year. He explains the bucket analogy from his mindset coach Jonah, the idea that you fill the bucket in practice and pull from it at tournaments, and how it changed the way he thought about preparation.
He also talks about how weekly calls kept the tools fresh through the chaos of tournament season, and about the storybook moment on day one of recruitment when the Naval Academy, his dream school since childhood, called him out of nowhere.
