There’s a rule in wrestling: Never underestimate anyone!
That goes for your opponent but even more so yourself! Who has been in this situation before:

You are wrestling someone who you have too much respect for; you don’t wrestle aggressively and you start out very slow. You do not impose your will on your opponent. Half way through the match you realize that it is a winnable match, but it’s too late. You already shot yourself in the foot because you didn’t truly expect to win. You came out slow and giving your opponent too much respect.

I was there personally as a Sophomore in HS in the NJ state tournament and again in college against the #2 wrestler in the country. Both of these matches could/should have been wins but they will forever be losses on my record because I had the wrong mindset going into the match.

Lesson learned! I will never let that happen again and neither should you.
NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF. They all can be beat!
